Architectural photography - Caisse d'Épargne in Bordeaux

The Caisse d'Épargne stands by the Garonne River

As part of the construction of the new Caisse d’Épargne headquarters in Bordeaux, Majencia, a company specializing in professional space design, entrusted me with the task of creating a series of architectural photographs to highlight the interior office spaces.

We pre-identified the architectural and aesthetic elements to be emphasized, ensuring the photographs would meet their precise communication needs. My goal was to capture not only the beauty of the space but also the ergonomics and functionality of the furniture designed by Majencia.

On a technical level, I used tilt-shift lenses, essential for architectural photography. These lenses help correct perspective distortions, especially vertical lines, which is crucial for achieving perfectly aligned images of buildings and spaces. They also allow control over depth of field, ensuring impeccable sharpness from foreground to background while maintaining a visually balanced composition.

In addition, the use of flashes and studio lighting helped harmonize the interior lighting with the natural light from the windows, ensuring a natural enhancement of the space without creating harsh shadows or altering the ambient light of the location.

These photographs, taken for Majencia, will be used both on social media and in their internal communication, adding real value to the promotion of their expertise in professional space design.
